Assalamu Alaikum! How's it going? Come on in,

to my home. I am your gracious hostess, Rasha. I am a 22 year
old Egyptian girl.
I graduated last year from the University of Maryland.
I majored in English with a minor in Rhetoric
Communication and
Professional Writing.
You think you heard enough about me? Well let's move on to the real reason you came
I worked so hard on this page. All my friends will tell you how many drafts I've been
through. My poor sister had to contend with all the "hey Assmaa, does this look
nice, or does this look better"..etc. So If you find that you have a minute to spare,
I'd LOVE to hear what you thought. You can simply just drop a message in my guest book
found below.
I extend an invitation to you to visit the rest of my premises. Take anything off this
page that you like as long as you please give credit where it's due (especially the
articles that I painstakingly wrote myself). Also I encourage you to look at the stuff I
have about Islam. It is, afterall, my livelihood. The contents of my page are
explained in the following:
- Writings: This
page includes all of the essays that I have written during my college years. Since I
am an English major the essay topics are predominantly concerned with English
Literature However, I do have a few that revolve around Islamic issues.
- Resources: This
page includes some Islamic and English resources which I thought would be beneficial to
visitors of this page. Also, some of the contents of this page are links which I
thought are too important to include in my favorite links page.
- Resume: This is
as self explanatory as the button name. It is the most recent version of my resume.
- Links: This page is a
compilation of some useful English related and Islamic related links. All of the
links that I include in this page have been throroughly examined. Of course I am not
perfect, so if you see something on a page that I linked to that you don't think is
appropriate for linking, I would appreciate an email.

This is the quickest and easiest way to get in touch with me. I check my email
regularly and I get soooo excited when I get an email from someone commenting on my page.
